![]() ![]() However, the exercise room is tiny, really tiny. I am mystified that the front desk clerk did not know about this room. While exploring the second floor, just above the main lobby, I found a 24 hour exercise room with a big sign over the door. ![]() I found that strange because many people like to wake up early and exercise. The front desk person told me that the only exercise room was in the pool complex that opened at 8:00 AM. First, at check-in, I asked if the resort had an exercise room. My wife and I enjoyed our spa experience. It is nice having a café in the main lodge. Our 2 queen beds room was quite roomy and clean. My wife and I recently stayed at Peek n Peak for an overnight visit. The selection was not large, but everything was hot and tasty. We had the breakfast buffet in the morning as guests of the bride's parents. The shower was wonderful!! We were very comfortable. The king-sized bed was very comfortable and there was a nice flat screen TV, fridge and coffee maker. Our room was very large, clean and well appointed. My husband and I spent the night at the Inn. My meal, chicken cordon bleu, was very good though. I know some who had the prime rib felt their meat was overcooked, but that's difficult to get exactly right with a big group. The food was very good for the most part. The reception was held in a building called The Retreat and was absolutely beautiful. The staff made the change flawlessly and accommodated everyone with ease. The ceremony was supposed to be held outside on the Golf Course, but due to inclement weather it was moved inside. Upon arrival, those staying for the night all received "goody bags" compliments of the bridal couple which included snacks and water. We attended a family wedding in May 2018 at the Resort. I did not sleep well at all because the hotel felt so dirty. We paid $250 for one night to live in hell. Room service sits outside peoples doors for 24 hours before someone comes to get the dirty plates, but they have time to slip your receipt and check out instructions under the door. We left the door open because of the mold smell because we were afraid we would get sick. The floors didn't look like they had been swept for awhile. The wall was sticky and there were still glass shards stuck to the wall and on the carpet. There was a place by the steps in our room that looked like someone through a class at the wall and it shattered but was never cleaned up. In the end she charged her $100 for a simple manicure and pedicure that looked terrible!!! The Inn hotel smelled musty/moldy. She had no idea what she was doing, One of my friends had on gel polish and the manager tried to remove it by scraping it off her nails which made them all chunky then painted over them. The Pool/Spa Manager stepped in to do nails because the nail tech called in sick. We had a manicure/pedicure and massage package schedule from 11-3 for a small group however we did not end up leaving the spa until 7pm. My friends and I were just up there on July 14th 2018. ![]() I did not sleep well at all because the hotel felt so.
